Handmade in New Zealand from European manufactured PVC coated nylon strapping, 100% waterproof and durable alternative to leather. With a breaking strain of 220kg per metre (12.5mm wide) and 340kg per metre (25mm wide) you have strength and durability while remaining lightweight and flexible.

This strapping is easy to clean, bacteria and smell resistant which makes it an essential feature for a collar or lead that will often be in salt water, and mud. With its abrasion resistant properties it resists scuffing and marking when dragged on the ground and simple to clean with dishwashing liquid and warm water.

Our collars and leads are supplied with either in silver or black electroplated over solid brass hardware this creates a strong bond to the brass, and corrosion resistant, which avoids the issues of 316 stainless steels which can tea stain (Visual rust) especially with repeated emersion in salt water.
